i’m truly amazed by how galvanized people are about obama. truth be told, i was much more of an edwards fan, but since my guy has bowed out, i’m pledging my support to obama. i can’t help but be moved when i hear hear talk. his message of hope and change speaks to a lot of people the way billy’s ‘92 campaign spoke to people. we were tired of our leaders not looking at our best interests. a decade of reagan and bush were enough to demoralize a nation. we needed someone new, someone fresh. we needed billy.
what obama has going for him is what billy had in ‘92. we are still tired of leaders not looking after our best interests. false wars started under false pretenses. we have a president who calls himself a christian, who believes that abortion is wrong, yet refuses to acknowledge that “thou shalt not kill” applies to all people. we are tired of dynastic legacies based on cyclical lies. we need someone fresh and new to move forward and give us a new meaning of the words “america” and “democracy”.
we need obama now in the same way we needed billy then.
the worst foods in america…
going through this article from men’s health magazine. the awesome blossom from chili’s is 2,700 calories. sure, you share it, but among four people, you’re still getting over 500 calories worth of grossness. no wonder we’re all so thick in our middles.
it makes me want to have a celery stick with a glass of lemon water.
